Civic FD 1.8 with EUROPEGAS OSCAR OBD CAN [Civic FD Thailand]

First of all, I would like to reccommend this script to someone who like to make your own web, it not expensive, value added, fast response. It is the good script among the others after I search for 2 days. It is here "iScripts"

OK, back to our topic.
This post share the experience of applying gas system to Civic FD 1.8. By knowledge from iwebgas.com, the owner use the service from the shop named Highway service car 2003 Ltd.

He suggest to do prior to modify gas system
- Self study
- Dicuss with equipment distributor and sell
- Dicuss with service technician
unless get enough information, he not recommend to decide whether modify or not.

From his experience at another shop

He asked should we remove ID to modify. The shop owneer said NO because civic FD is very difficult to take that part out, so he quit that shop immediately.

Then, to this shop the same question. Difference answer, and on that time there was another car wait for install gas system so he go to this shop right away and install gas system at the same price with tank cover block (without additional charge).

The step of installation you can see in the original forum. Here is the short note and explanation
- Open the area for gas tank and open console for wire
- Drill some are for fastening screws
- Remove filter for intake air
- Install gas control unit
- Seal gas pipe
- Install tank support and mount to the car
- Modify intake air unit

- Seal all wire connections
- Inside engine room

- Install gas tube

- Fill gas, check leakage, Tuning

- On-line tuning

- Cleaning

- The free tank cover for nice look, hand-made from this shop

- Change the small front lamps


It is finished here, 1 day service from shop. And he do some adjustment from other shop
- Change spacer (1 inch) to compensate the tank weight ($54)

- Adjust steering balance
