Who have ever tried Shell V Power Gasohol95 [Civic FD Thailand]

They discuss about the new launch blend gasoline formula from Shell, the Shell-V power gassohol 95.

The ads said it is better than gasohol 91, is this true, what is difference from gasohol 95?

Many replies feel it is cool, high power efficiency, while many posts said he feel not difference. But, all of them feel it is expensive compare to the gasohol 91.

Fill E 20 full tank 1200 THB, drove from Lam-look-ga to Chan-ta-bu-ri, the feul indicator remain 2 dots then fill gasohol 95 V-Power 1000 THB (almost full tank) drove back to Lam-look-ga then checked the fuel remain 3 ponts.

The acc. rates are not difference, the consumption of E20 about 11.5 KPL while gasohol 95 V-Power about 13.5 KPL. Speed quite the same, upto one preference, for himself E20 is OK, not too expensive and sometime use normal gasoline

Driving in the city, the acc rate is a bit better while driving long distance is not difference from Gasohol 95, the consumptions are not difference. The price difference 160 THB/Tank is significant e.g. fill 10 time he save money for a new Lube oil which give more improvement (in his opinion)

Mostly drive long distance, he use many fuel types. The Shell V, from Pitsanulok to Huahin speed 120 km/h total 600 km remain feul 2 pionts in the dashboard meter. He think the is lowest consumption for long distance

Compare Shell : v power gasohol95 and Caltex gasoline 91

1. Acc. rate, smoothness : Same same
2. Price : quite same
3. Distance : Caltex gasoline 91 is better

Test by the same distance he drive everyday

V-Power is smooth acc. Compare the Caltex gasoline 95 have a lot difference both low and high rpm low rpm V-Power give smooth acc and feel like fast speed due to the smooth engine run. Gasoline 95 making feel like engine stable but not smooth acc. At high speed Gasoline 95 have better power.
His comment is, better to use gasohol 95 (normal) accept who like the smooth acceleration, and if one need high power he recommended Gasoline 95
